The ABB FIA Formula E World Championship in Ad-Dir'iyah The First World Night Race

His Royal Highness Prince Mohammad Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz, the Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, attended the competitions of the second round of the Ad-Dir'iyah Formula E 2021 which was held in the historical Ad-Dir'iyah for the third year in a row, within the seventh season of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship.

The competitions of the prestigious race were held at night for the first time with the participation of 12 international teams over a two-day period on the 2.83 km long Ad-Dir'iyah circuit. This stunning circuit is illuminated with low-consumption LED technology, which reaches up to 50% compared to other technologies. 

Nyck de Vries won the race, followed by the British Sam Bird in the second place, then the Dutch Robin Vernes in the third place, then the Swiss Mortara in the fourth place, then the French Gian Vernet in the fifth place, and the New Zealander Mitch Evans in the sixth place.
